The 5th Annual Community Spelling Bee, sponsored by the Marion Cross PTO, will be held on Friday evening, March 26, in the school gym. Relax!—you don’t spell alone as you are part of a three-person team. Or you can just watch and cheer. Yes! people actually cheer as teams spell!

So call your friends and cohorts and form a team of three, and come up with a snappy team name! We are limited to 36 teams so return your entry form as soon as possible to ensure your team’s spot. Entry forms are available at the Norwich Public Library, the Norwich Bookstore, the Marion Cross School and on the school’s web site. $60 entry fee per team.

This fun mud season event is open to the entire community. Proceeds will benefit the Marion Cross School’s Visiting Authors program and the Norwich Public Library.
